GENERAL

1What are the opening times for the Main Festival
12pm – 10:30pm, Last Entry is 5pm
2Where is the event taking place?
This event is taking place at Newstead Abbey, Nottingham, NG15 9HJ.
3How do I get to Newstead Abbey?
Road Access: Newstead Abbey is located 12 miles north of Nottingham on the A60 close to Junction 27 of the M1. Heading from the M1, follow signs for Sherwood Forrest and brown signs thereafter.

The postcode for your Sat nav is NG15 9HJ

From gate entry follow the signs through Newstead Estate to the customer parking.

By train: The Robin Hood Line runs from Nottingham to Worksop - via Newstead.

Note: The festival will be providing free shuttle buses from Newstead Abbey gates to the festival site as this is over a 1-mile walk.
4Can I leave the event site and then come back (i.e. are there pass-outs)?
There are no pass outs at Woodland Disco.
5How old do I need to be to attend and will I need ID?
You will need to be 18 or Older. We operate a challenge-25 policy upon Entry and at All Bars, if you look younger than 25, please bring ID.
6Is there a Dress Code?
It’s a Festival, Go Wild!
7Will you be releasing the Set Times?
Set Times will be displayed at the Bars and the Week of the Show on our Social Media.
8Is It Cash or Card?
All Bars will take card, Food/Stalls/Fair will be both cash/card.
9Can I Park on site?
There is no parking on site. We encourage you to use public transport or local taxi firms which will take you to the main town centre for drop off and pick up.
10Is there any camping options for this event?
No, there is not camping available.
11Who Is Performing?
Woodland Disco includes main stage headline acts such as Sister Sledge Ft Kathy Sledge, Gok Wan, Fat Tony, Dr Packer, Michael Gray and many more with Lovezoo hosting Woodland stage headlined by Danny Rampling and Allister Whitehead + Residents.
12Is The Event Outside?
This is a festival style event and is open air.

TICKETS

1How Much Are Tickets?
Woodland Disco - General Access Tickets are priced from £35.00+bf to £47.50+bf. There are limited VIP tickets available too, these are priced from £75.00+BF to £90.00+BF
2Can pay on the day?
Unless Sold Out... Yes, we’ll have tickets at the Box Office. Save a few quid by purchasing online.
3Can I upgrade my Standard Ticket to VIP?
Yes, but we only have limited Upgrades. Head to the Box Office on the day.. this will cost you £20 per upgrade.
4I have a General Ticket Question
Please contact the Ticket Outlet where you purchased your ticket from.
5What Do I Get With VIP?
VIP Tickets include fast track entry, access to the VIP village with extra bars, cocktail bar, chill out area, posh loos and access to the VIP Golden Circle front of stage.
6Do I need to print my Tickets Out?
Yes you can, or you can save the PDF to your phone, or use the Skiddle App to download to your Wallet. #SaveTheTrees

DRINKS & FOOD

1Can I bring Food / Alcohol in with me?
Sadly not.. but we do have fully stocked Bars & Award winning Food Stalls on site from great local vendors and we cater for vegetarian and Vegan customers too.
2Alcohol / Drinks, tell me more.
We have Fully Stocked Bars selling all your favourite alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
3Which Drinks do you sell?
Beer / Cider / Mixed Fruit cider / Processco / Vodka / Gin / Whisky / Jager bombs / Tequilla / Soft Drinks / Energy Drink. VIP will also include: Cocktails & Premium Spirits.

OTHER

1Are there any lockers for my valuables?
Yes, please look out for the GoHangers Van for Lockers, Cloakroom, Charging etc.
2Can I bring a bag?
Yes, this will be searched upon entry.
3Will sets be recorded?
We will not be officially recording any sets, DJs may record their own sets though.
4Can we bring suncream with us?
Yes, no glass bottles.
5Do you have disabled facilities?
The event is on a field with disabled access & disabled facilities. Please contact us if you would like to book a space at our disability friendly stage viewing point away from crowds. This is at no extra charge. Please contact info@newvisionevents.co.uk to find out more.
6Can we bring Perfume / Deodorant?
Glass Bottles / Aerosols are Banned. Roll On Deodorant is fine.
7Is there anywhere to charge my phone?
Yes, please look out for the GoHangers Van for Lockers, Cloakroom, Charging etc.

Road Closure & Drop Off System

Road Closures may be in place at the end of the eventon Stratford Road and Branbury Road. Please use the main town centre for drop off and pick up.

Local Transport

Nearest coach stations are Victoria Bus Station, which goes directly to Newstead Abbey Gates (25min journey), followed by a 26-minute walk to Newstead Abbey.
This is the same route needed to be taken if attendees are to get the train into Nottingham Station, taking a 5-minute bus to NTU City Campus (Stop G1) and walking to Victoria Bus Station to catch the 25-minute bus to Newstead Abbey gates.

Broadmarsh Bus Station is an 3-minute walk from Nottingham Station, following the same steps as above.

Bus 17 and 528 / NOTTSBUS CONNECT have routed that pass near Newstead Abbey

Trains:

Newstead Train Stop is a 9-minute drive from Newstead Abbey.

•             Doncaster (2h 1minute) - Doncaster Station through to Retford (13min), with a 20-minute change over at Retford Station, followed by a 10-minute train journey from Retford to Worksop, changing over at Worksop for a direct train to Newstead Station (47min).
•             Sheffield Station direct to Nottingham Station (Max 53 Minutes), followed by a 20-minute train from Nottingham to Newstead 
•             Leeds Station run trains to Worksop station every hour (1h 27min), followed by a change at Worksop to Newstead (37min) - This is the fastest route.
•             Derby Station runs trains directly to Nottingham Station (20-30min duration), passengers can then change here for a 20-minute journey from Nottingham to Newstead.
•             Mansfield Station runs trains direct to Newstead (15-minute duration).
•             Leicester Station runs trains direct to Nottingham Station (30-50min duration), passengers can then change here for a 20-minute journey from Nottingham to Newstead.
•             Manchester Piccadilly Station run trains direct to Nottingham Station (1h 46min duration), passengers can then change here for a 20-minute journey from Nottingham to Newstead.
•             London St Pancras Station run trains direct to Nottingham Station (1h 34min duration), and London Kings Cross Station run trains direct to Grantham Station (1h duration), where passengers can then change for a 42-minute direct train to Nottingham Station, and from here, a 20-minute journey from Nottingham to Newstead.

Airport:

East Midlands Airport is a 30-minute drive to Nottingham city centre, or their is an air-link bus that takes passengers from the airport to Friar Lane (Stop F1), which is 7-minutes from the city centre (43-minute travel time)

Door to Door Taxi, 13-minute drive from Newstead - £20-£30 from Nottingham City Centre depending on no. of passengers and time/date of pickup.
Ideal Cars, 15-minute drive from Newstead Abbey - £20-£30 from Nottingham City Centre depending on no. of passengers and time/date of pickup.

Accommodation:

The Bowman by Greene Kings Inn - £95 Double Room (2x people), Saturday 6th July - Sunday 7th July. 16-minute driving distance from venue.
Mansfield Lodge Hotel- £100 Double Room (2x people). Saturday 6th July - Sunday 7th July. 19-minute driving distance from venue.
Bestwood Lodge Hotel- £100 Double Room (2x people). Saturday 6th July - Sunday 7th July. 17-minute driving distance from venue.
Holiday Inn South Normanton- £89 Standard Room (2x people). Saturday 6th July - Sunday 7th July. 21-minute driving distance from venue.
